The Fruitful Potager

Scabiosa caucasica 'Deep Waters'.  This plant just flowers and flowers.  Starting early in spring it is still flowering now in June.  The beautiful large light purple/soft blue flowers are an impressive sight.  Easy to grow and very tolerant of dry (survived our summer drought in a sunny exposed rockery without missing a beat).  Attractive to butterflies.  Highly recommended.  Borders, rockery, pots, cottage. Hardy perennial. 50cm
