Anemone hupehensis var. Japonica single white

Anemone hupehensis var. Japonica (Japanese anemone) A perennial herbaceous anemone with delicate looking, simple white flowers that are actually quite tough. The plants themselves are very tough with fibrous roots that slowly travel.  Needs a bit of space to grow.  I keep mine in check by pulling unwanted bits out but if you want something compact and well behaved this is not the plant for you which would be a shame as they really are lovely. Can also be kept in a pot.  I look forward to the flowers each year that brighten up a shady spot in summer, they also last pretty well in a vase. Best in a part shade but will tolerate full sun as well.  Happy to be cut back after flowering. Hardy perennial.  80cm. 1ltr pot.
